Laurels Westies, at
DreamCatcher Hill Puppies and Rescue
www.laurelswesties.com, my original website, went down. Please enjoy the new website.
Pickles and Colt have puppies born 10-24-17, while Art an I were on our first vacation together in 8 years. Aryne had her hands full! She has 5 male and 1 female, just like Pixie did! They all did great. Kim has taken the 2 boys available to her house to start them on basic training. (No additional fee for the training) Already crate trained, walk on a leash and understand "quite". Almost housebroken too! They will be an easy new puppy.
1 is are available at this time. ( Blue ribbon boy in the Christmas box.)
They are handsome puppies!
My daughter is offering a new service available for training new puppies from our kennel. See more information under the recommendations page.
Thanksgiving! 11-23-17 Maggie Mae and Archie delivered their litter of 2 male puppies and 3 female puppies! 1 male is having a rough time. I am hand feeding them. This is her first litter. The other 4 in the photo are robust puppies and she is a terrific mom!
1 female is available, photos of on pink. Photo at 2 weeks old, they don't quite have their eyes open yet.
Past puppies in the slide show, see current puppies and information below.
Lots of photos over the years, way to many to post!
Jelly Bean and Ernie had 2 female and a male 2-4-18. They were born small and struggled for a few days time. I supplement fed them, but now have taken off growing. They are some tuff puppies!
See below for current puppies!
At a few weeks old they have their eyes open and are healthy chubby puppies.
I usually take pictures when the puppies are 3 to 4 weeks old and have their eyes open.
The selection for a puppy changes quickly, and as you can see by the photos each of my Westie babies are adorable!
Fortunately they are all so cute and everyone likes something a bit different even when there is just one available he/she is still the perfect puppy for somebody.
The mom's like to cycle at the same time as their friends. We may have no puppies at all, and then suddenly like a snowball effect have lots of puppies! (Female canines only cycle about once or twice a year, unlike some other mammal's.)
Half the moms came in season at the same time, now the other half of the moms did it again! Fall changed into winter fast!
Ginny is bred to Crisco Slick. Kalli is bred to Seth, and Bling to Archie for puppies born in March. Billie Jo is bred to Seth, and Minnie is being bred to Magnum (being sneaky if he bred her or she's early yet), Blossom is bred to Colt, and Pippy may have bred by Colt, they were being sneaky if so, Anna has been bred to Ernie, plus Pixie is in season and going to be bred to Archie. They would all be due in April! Strong has sprung! i think everyone has come in season!
Its too early to tell yet if those due more then a month away or more are expecting for sure, or not.
Deposit information for future puppies
Until the puppies arrive we just don't know how many, or what sex they will be. Deposits for puppies not born yet are simply for a puppy either in an expected litter, or for one who will be 8 weeks old closest to when a puppy is desired. We let families pick their puppy in the order we have received deposits.
This new website is still a work in progress after loosing a books worth of photos and information when the original website went down.
Our puppies are all born in our home, under very close supervision.
"Deposit information," "What comes with your puppy," "FAQ" and "To get a puppy, or not," pages are started each on their own page, please check them out. A puppy is a very serious decision. Please do not get a puppy, or a dog if you have any hesitation about long term responsibility of a furry best friend.
Some parents and grandparents OFA certificates are on the parent page, (Orthopedic Foundation Association) for patellas, hips and eyes as recommended by the breed club. No other breeder I know of does as much health testing, over such a long time for Westie's as we do.
(Many breeders do no testing at all!)
We care about our dogs and their puppies!
1-2-2018, Skittles and Alvin. They have 5 puppies, 3 females and 2 male.
2 male and 1 female puppies are available. They are as cute as Barbie Dolls, will get photos soon!
We have several litters of Champion Line Westie puppies due to be born. The puppies will be ready for their new home when they turn 8 weeks old.
Moms due are listed under the current puppies section below. Please see each litter listed below for availability, and check the note of moms due if none are available.
We often have a short list of deposits from families waiting for a puppy.
Or email if interested in an adult, future puppy, or any questions you have that you don't find answered here, or on the other pages.

Day after Thanksgiving! 11-24-17 Shirley and Archie had 3 female puppies. She was in labor off an on Thanksgiving I thought they would be born same day as Maggie Mae's. She apparently didn't want her babies to share birthday with Maggie Mae's.
2 females are available. One went to her new home for 4 days and was brought back. They hadn't had a puppy in 20 years and forgot how time consuming a puppy is. They are going to wait for an older dog.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
1-1-2018, Barbie Doll and Archie have New Year day babies!. She has 3 male and 1 female!
1 male and 1 female are available. Photos at 4.5 weeks old.
